Stationery : Angelina Photo

Happy Friday! I have been so so so excited to share this stationery suite for Angelina Photography. When Steph confirmed she wanted to incorporate beautiful letterpress into her stationery suite, I was over the moon!

Her letterpress business cards are amazing! We decided to take the rope from the logo and do a blind print on the side. The element gives the business card a ton of visual interest, and allows the rest of the card reflect that really classic feel Stephanie wanted to share.

We created a little suite of stamps too. You know I love rubber stamps!!

I seriously love this suite so much. It’s amazing how cozy it feels.

Stationery : Michelle Lange

At this point, I am almost ready to pack my bags and move to the east coast … sure, I’d miss my hubby, but I feel like my life would be full of sunshine if I were around Michelle Lange every day!! This girl is so bright & bubbly … I have loved her project so much.

Last week, her stationery suite left the studio (bittersweet). I was extra proud of this one … rubber stamps plus letterpress?!? YES PLEASE!

The suite included letterpress business cards, letterpress notecards, a custom logo stamp, and a custom pattern stamp. I love that pattern stamp! I decided that we couldn’t move forward without a metallic gold ink pad, and boy, I am so glad we went for it!

Since Michelle’s brand is really fresh & light, we used the striped pattern as a way to add a bit of whimsy & playfulness. By keeping the lines a little irregular, the lines aren’t too stuffy. The letterpress printing really picked up those (awesome imperfections. Printing on cotton makes my heart happy! Plus, gold business cards … yeah, Michelle is amazing!

Her logo stamp can be used on packaging & stationery, and the pattern stamp can be used anywhere!! I love it on the back of envelopes.

Stationery : The Nickersons

I’ve been so excited to share this beautiful, letterpress stationery I designed for  The Nickersons. Sarah & Graeme wanted to keep their stationery just as clean & fresh as their new brand identity … but we wanted to keep it memorable.

We decided to bring the watercolor elements into the business cards, and they decided this would be an amazing place for their manifesto. I absolutely love the words they use to describe themselves … it feels so warm & inviting! To add some more softness to the suite, their correspondence cards were letterpress printed onto beautiful white cotton. Rubber stamps & beautiful, gray envelopes round out their paper suite.

Stationery : Murray Photography

Loving this paper suite for Murray Photography. Matt & Ali love rubber stamps, and wanted an entire set to use on their stationery & packaging. I also created a custom return address stamp for use on correspondence cards. Their business cards are super fun! So happy Ali encouraged me to do something really creative here … she wanted something different … something people would remember. The card ended up being the basis for their new website! Excited to share the site process soon.

Personal Letterpress Stationery : Nick & Mel

Happy Monday!! Hope you all had an amazing weekend. Ours was filled to the brim with new friends, old friends, and some really awesome moments.

I just shipped out this beautiful personal stationery to one of our wedding couples, Nick & Mel. Melissa contacted me a few weeks ago when she was in the market for some premium stationery … they wanted to send lovely thank you notes for all of their wedding goodies from friends & family.

Nick & Mel chose a beautiful navy blue ink to be printed on soft-white cotton. Of course, the wonderful folks over at Czar Press did an amazing job printing these letterpress cards!

Along with the thank you cards, N & M had me design a custom return address stamp to finish off the paper suite.

We are so excited for Nick & Mel’s wedding next month … We’ll be flying all the way to beautiful Michigan for it. Check our their engagement photos we shot last summer in Chicago!

Business Cards : Jen + Ashley

Happy Tuesday! Just wanted to pop in to share the business cards we recently designed for Jen + Ashley … This is a little follow-up post to their full stationery suite I shared back in June.

The cards are just like the rest of the suite … chic, fun & modern!

I love love love Jen + Ashley … Be sure to visit their blog to give them a little love!

Stationery : Elaine Innes Photography

Happy Wednesday! I wanted to share a cute stationery suite I recently created for Elaine Innes Photography. In keeping with the really soft feel of her new brand identity, we kept these stationery pieces very simple and used the feather element to tie the pieces together.

The rounded business cards add even more softness to the suite. Love the little trio of feathers here!!

A thank you card (printed on linen), paper bag envelopes & a custom rubber stamp finish off the suite.

If you would like a little guidance about branding or design, let’s chat.

I am currently offering one-on-one brand reviews and consultations. If you’re considering rebranding, let’s talk first. Maybe you just need a little help with strategy, or you’re not sure about how to best represent your brand visually. We can talk on the phone, Skype or in-person to give you some perspective. Just send me a hello, and we can talk about the details.

We’re currently booking brand identity clients for 2012. I love working with creatives who are passionate about what they do. I love clients who are crazy about design and understand that branding is more than a fancy logo. If that’s you, let’s talk!

Stationery : Jen + Ashley

This project has had me giddy from the start. Jen + Ashley are the best of the best, and I’ve loved how open they’ve been about having fun with their new brand & really infusing FUN into the whole suite.

This week, I sent their correspondence cards & stamps out of the studio and off to J + A … Sad to see these babies leave, but so happy to share them!

Client interaction is SUPER important to Jen + Ashley! Nothing leaves their studio without a hand-written note, and they needed to be certain their client correspondence pieces were branded and booming with personality. These cards give them flexibility to write a ‘hello’ or ‘thank you’, and their logo has a little home on the back …

We wanted to incorporate their logo as many places as possible … this means, we created a custom rubber stamp. It can be stamped almost anywhere! I even included a white ink pad this time so they could stamp all over those BEAUTIFUL navy blue envelopes.

Lastly, the outside of the envelope is just as important as what’s inside … we wanted to finish everything off with a clean, modern return address stamp. This particular stamp is self-inking and good for over 100,000 impressions. I love how we could tie their little square logo element into this piece as well.

I’m not done sharing their suite just yet! Be on the lookout for their business cards and their new website!!

Stationery : Lemongrass Photography

I LOVE RUBBER STAMPS!

Almost every single client has included stamps in their branding package, and that makes me happier than a bird with a french fry!

Jessica of Lemongrass Photography wanted to include a few stamps to add cohesiveness to her packaging.

We created a cute return address stamp as well as two little ends of the arrow in her logo. She can use these arrows on notes for her clients.

Check out the details of the Lemongrass Photography re-brand right here!

Business Cards :: Little Joy

Happy Friday! I cannot believe this week is almost over … it’s pretty crazy to me how time just goes by so much faster these days. We’re gearing up for a big weekend in Portland: it’s supposed to be sunny and in the 70’s! As much as I’d love to be out enjoying that warm sunshine, I have some really fun projects to wrap over the weekend!

I wanted to pop in today to share the latest business cards for Little Joy. Besides this blog, my husband and I run a photography studio, and my little piece of it is birth photography I call “Little Joy”.

This was the first time I’ve worked with Moo Cards, and the definitely met my expectations! Fast service, nice print quality & speedy delivery.

I love that I got to use several of my favorite birth photos on the back of the cards. I love that potential clients will be able to see my work!
